Chardonnay, wooded Oak plays an important but subtle role in this Chardonnay with the varietal characters enhanced by an array of winemaking techniques to ensure complexity. As a young wine it displays a rich amalgam of melon, fig and citrus fruit, finely balanced with vanillin oak. There are hints of butterscotch and roasted nuts from malolactic fermentation and barrel maturation. Bottle ageing is rewarded with increased richness and peaches, cream and buttered toast characters intensify. Chardonnay, unwooded Zibbibo A fresh fruity style wine originating from Alexandria in Ancient Egypt, this muscat grape migrated to the island of Sardina and from there to Calabria in southern Italy, where it is know as Zibbibo. Made as a table wine, the late maturing grape has intense crisp, clean passionfruit aromas. Low in alcohol, it makes for a great summer drinking wine. Semillon A grassy fresh show on the nose. Delicate citrus palate finishing long with clean acidity. Shiraz Reserve This late havest wine has intense ripe nose of blackberry, blueberry and cedar, with a hint of pepper spice. Flavours are a subtle combination of these berry fruits integrated with new Americam oak. THe soft tannins integrate well with acid and give a long finish to a wine that is beautifully balanced.
